The 2010 Labor Day Jam was a great success! About 70 practitioners from around the Midwest were able to learn from three of Parkour Generations’ lead instructors. All event attendees had opportunities to train with each instructor. Time was also set aside to explore and train around Battelle Riverfront Park.
Congratulations to the Level 1 ADAPT students who completed the certification process at the jam by assisting the lead instructors throughout the day! The group included 11 instructors from Parkour Horizons, who look forward to sharing their new focus and knowledge at our regularly scheduled training sessions.
We will be meeting at the Santa Maria replica at Battelle Riverfront Park on Monday for the Labor Day Jam. Be sure to be there at noon for the start of the jam, which will be finishing at 5:00pm.
Today is your last chance to register for Labor Day Weekend with Parkour Generations. Be sure not to miss out on the opportunity to get in on the world-class parkour training!
There will not be regularly scheduled practice on Wednesday or Friday of next week. There will, however, be training on Monday.
Next Friday (Sept. 3) will be the first day of training led by Parkour Generations instructors Dan Edwardes, Chris Keighley and Stephane Vigroux. For more information on the Labor Day Weekend with Parkour Generations training, check out the event’s page. Be sure to sign up before Saturday if you want to take part in the training!
Back in February of 2008 Dan Edwardes, Stephane Vigroux and Chris Keighley (the three instructors who will be coming to Columbus to lead training over Labor Day Weekend) made a trip to NYC, and while there they led a day of training in Central Park.
Many of the members of Parkour Horizons made it to the Big Apple to train with Parkour Generations for the first time. It totally changed the way we all train, and we look forward to giving more practitioners the same opportunity over Labor Day Weekend.
Check out the video posted below to get a taste of the training you will be able to get, right here in Columbus, over Labor Day Weekend. If you want to get in on the training, you have to registerbefore this Saturday!
